Job Summary

The Engine Owner is responsible for managing the maintenance of engines and coordinating with stakeholders to meet customer commitments. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and manage shop visit scenarios, associated risks, and solutions to meet customer satisfaction, TAT, and cost objectives.
  • Report on maintenance operations evolutions to internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary interface for leadership inquiries about engine status.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to investigations or sick bays, ensuring decisions align with commitments on TAT and cost.
  • Ensure initial workscope and extensions comply with process and program guidelines.
  • Represent the industrial operations team within the Customer Team, serving as the main interface between customers and the shop.
  • Organize customer visits in the shop, validate industrial gates, and track invoicing delays and quality standard compliance.
  • Drive risk analysis and mitigation plans for wing-to-wing maintenance operations, engine maintenance costs, and contract profitability optimization.
  • Resolve commercial disputes with customers and implement lessons learned to improve hand-offs among stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Highly effective communication and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with ability to work under pressure to deliver targets on time.
  • Cross-cultural experience and ability to work in different cultures with successful outcomes.
  • Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • English native or close to native to communicate with suppliers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, engineering, or customer service in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Preferred 8+ years of experience in operations, engineering, or customer service in MRO Aerospace Industry.
