We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Leader to join our Digital Technology and Experience (DTX) team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technology vision and technical plans for your team, driving innovation and excellence in software development.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and product leads to perform technical due diligence, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize the SDLC process.
  • Work with peers across the Client Technology organization to shape the future state of our systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as a technical guide and mentor for engineers on your team, fostering a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and equality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a senior-level software engineer.
  • Prior experience as a technical leader in software engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for mentoring and leading initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven system design, and data design.
  • Expert coding skills in at least one dynamic language.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality control tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to make and execute platform-level technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using UML diagrams for system design.
  • Experience transitioning from monolith to microservice architecture.
  • Experience with multi-step transactions, GraphQL, and micro-front architecture.
