- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration: Participate in Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) to provide behavioral expertise and support.
- Behavior Plan Development: Assess, design, train, monitor, and report on behavior plans to ensure effective implementation.
- Behavioral Assessments: Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, to inform treatment plans.
- Direct Behavioral Treatment: Provide direct behavioral treatment to clients through replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, and other evidence-based interventions.
- On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for behavioral issues.
- Restraint Monitoring: Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce its implementation.
- Behavior Monitoring: Continuously monitor and address challenging behaviors.
- Committee Participation: Participate in Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee, and other relevant committees.
- Education: Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and make independent decisions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to participate in crisis management procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
