About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert behavioral support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and Train Staff: Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on Positive Behavior Support methodology.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration: Participate in Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) to provide behavioral expertise and support.
  • Behavior Plan Development: Assess, design, train, monitor, and report on behavior plans to ensure effective implementation.
  • Behavioral Assessments: Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, to inform treatment plans.
  • Direct Behavioral Treatment: Provide direct behavioral treatment to clients through replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, and other evidence-based interventions.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for behavioral issues.
  • Restraint Monitoring: Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce its implementation.
  • Behavior Monitoring: Continuously monitor and address challenging behaviors.
  • Committee Participation: Participate in Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee, and other relevant committees.
Qualifications
  • Education: Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and make independent decisions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to participate in crisis management procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
