Job Title: Behavior Technician

Acorn Health is a leading provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Behavior Technician will work directly with clients, delivering intensive ABA interventions under the supervision of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role requires a strong commitment to providing individualized support, promoting skill development, and reducing problem behaviors.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients, increasing skills and reducing problem behaviors
  • Work closely with supervising BCBAs and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
  • Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions
  • Communicate regularly with parents, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless treatment plans
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a caregiving or educational setting
  • Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, teaching, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for helping others
