Key Responsibilities:
- Material Management: Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and that supplies are properly accounted for on-site.
- Quality Assurance: Deliver high-quality workmanship to minimize rework and ensure compliance with program standards.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork related to job sites promptly and accurately.
- Client Relations: Foster positive interactions with homeowners and subcontractors to enhance service delivery.
- Technical Assessments: Conduct blower-door and pressure pan tests, seal major leaks, and inspect ductwork as required.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain effective working relationships with the TRI-CAP and Weatherization teams, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines.
- Professional Development: Pursue certifications to advance to Crew Leader status.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, or actively pursuing one.
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment.
- Valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to achieve competency as a Retrofit Installer Shell within nine months, with ongoing education and retesting.
- Obtain a 10 Hour OSHA Safety card within nine months.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Capable of assessing work scope and identifying necessary staffing and materials.
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining the work site and tools.
- Willingness to travel for training and job-related duties.
Work Environment: This role involves working in various residential settings and may include exposure to diverse environmental conditions. Interaction with team members and clients is frequent, and flexible hours may be required.
