Job Title: 1681 FT Money Desk Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Money Desk Specialist to join our team at German American Bancorp. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for processing domestic and international wire transfers, investigating and resolving any issues that may arise, and communicating with customers to ensure seamless transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process wire transfers accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and resolve wire transfer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Prepare corporate account balance reports and other related information for senior management

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
