Overview:
The Project Manager for the data transformation initiative at HIGH BRIDGE CONSULTING LLC acts as the pivotal figure for coordination and successful delivery of our significant Business Intelligence (BI) transformation project. This role focuses on utilizing technologies such as Looker, dbt, and BigQuery to drive the creation of high-quality BI solutions, while overseeing a diverse team and ensuring projects are executed within the established timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Oversee the comprehensive delivery of data models within the semantic layer to facilitate self-service BI for users.
Guarantee that projects are finalized punctually, within financial limits, and meet the predetermined quality benchmarks.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, ensuring consistent and transparent communication regarding project status, risks, and challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote effective teamwork and ensure proper delegation and execution of tasks.
Risk Assessment:
Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may affect project delivery. Formulate and implement strategies for risk mitigation.
Continuously review project risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project integrity.
Team Leadership:
Encourage a collaborative atmosphere within the Data Platform Team and related departments.
Operate within an Agile framework that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.
Facilitate communication and cooperation to ensure all team members are engaged and contributing to the success of the program.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all outputs meet quality standards and satisfy the requirements established by the organization and clients.
Implement strategies to monitor and enhance the quality of deliverables.
Continuous Development:
Promote and instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Analyze project performance metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure transparency and visibility regarding the status and performance of the program.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program, project, or delivery management roles, ideally in the digital solutions sector.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Prior experience in the environmental services sector or a related field is advantageous.
Skills:
  • Proficient project management skills, including knowledge of Agile methodologies (such as SCRUM) and project management tools (currently utilizing GitLab).
  • In-depth understanding of Business Intelligence, semantic layers (Looker), Data Warehousing (BigQuery), and broader data management principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification or similar credentials are a plus.
  • Certifications related to data management, digital solutions, or environmental sustainability would be beneficial.
