Role Purpose

The primary objective is to communicate, reinforce, and adjust behaviors related to parking on campus by enforcing established parking regulations. This role ensures that authorized vehicles have access to their designated parking spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments via cash, checks, or credit cards at designated locations. Maintain accurate cash drawer records and prepare daily financial reports while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Complete necessary departmental and university documentation. Sell parking permits and related items, manage payments, and verify permit authenticity. Collaborate with campus departments for assistance and security purposes.
  • Operate university vehicles to fulfill job responsibilities across various campus locations, demonstrating proficiency in parking operations.
  • Conduct audits of permits and access cards regularly. Compile reports and oversee student workers and new cashiers as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Experience in cash handling and transaction processing. Proficiency in computer usage and clerical tasks. Strong customer service skills and teamwork experience. Ability to maintain accurate records and files.

Relevant education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a university setting or large-scale parking operations.

Driving Requirements

A valid class "C" driver's license is required. A current driving record must be provided. If relocating to Texas, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within a specified timeframe.

Salary Range

$37,440 and above, based on qualifications.
