Position Overview:

If you are an automotive expert who resonates with the concept of exceptional service, RMA Worldwide has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mobile Mechanic within our Maintenance department. Candidates must possess their own tools and be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our well-maintained fleet of vehicles, ensuring our customers' vehicles remain in optimal condition and on the road. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site maintenance of our fleet at our outdoor facility, with flexibility for at-home repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and repairs as identified in the DVIR.
  • Execute diagnostic testing on fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain detailed records of all serviced vehicles.
  • Inspect diesel machinery and vehicles for signs of potential deterioration.
  • Physical demands include lifting over 50lbs frequently and moving objects weighing more than 20lbs regularly, utilizing appropriate tools as necessary.
  • Disassemble, overhaul, rebuild, repair, recondition, replace, and maintain engine components, pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, differential unions, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.
  • Operate company vehicles for parking, moving, positioning, testing, and performing road/service calls.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in Diesel Repair, particularly with Cummings and Detroit engines (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years in Automotive Repair/General Mechanic Work (required).
  • Prior experience in transportation, specifically with Coach Bus/Ground Transportation.
  • CDL License (preferred).
  • ASE Certification (required).
  • Experience with DOT inspections (preferred).
  • Availability to work 7 days a week.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
