Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide technical insight, review, and support to mechanics, aircrew, and FST personnel on VH-92A aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between HMX-1 maintainers and operators and PMA-274 Maintenance Department Managers to ensure consistent communication flow.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize out-of-service time.
  • Maintain a focus on supporting line maintenance users, contract field teams, and FST with corrective maintenance requests and technical guidance.
  • Coordinate the sourcing of approved parts, design solutions, and readiness improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical insight, support, direction, and authorization to mechanics and vendors completing assignments, overhauls, repairs, and planned maintenance of the VH-92A.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' recent experience in relevant S-92A or VH-92A aircraft/systems.
  • Valid/Current Airframes and Power Plant (A&P) License.
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft experience within the last (5) five years.
  • Experience supporting IPTs and ITTs.
  • Personnel released from Military Service require an Honorable Discharge.
Security Clearance

Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Certification.
  • Experience with military rotary aviation.
  • S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience.
