Position Overview:

We are in search of a Warehouse Specialist who will be tasked with the secure handling and shipping of cranes. This role demands a high degree of precision and attention to detail, as it involves lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly inventory counts of crane assembly materials.
  • Generate purchase orders for necessary materials.
  • Request quotes for requisitions.
  • Manage stock materials according to inventory sheets.
  • Order and organize shipping materials and supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Ensure accuracy in all documentation produced.
  • Support supervision and management as required.
  • Complete out-of-inventory sheets.
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and operational instructions.
  • Perform warehouse duties as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Receive and check in steel orders.
  • Verify the quantity and quality of received orders.
  • Match received items with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Process shipments via UPS and FedEx.
  • Transport and manage supplies to and from storage areas; label and issue supplies.
  • Restock shelves and rotate inventory as necessary.
  • Promote a positive work atmosphere and enhance company morale.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer operations.
  • Able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to complete a certification course.
  • Overhead Crane Operator training or certification is mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Position Type and Expected Work Hours:

This is a full-time role; standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
