Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-out: Complete guest registration and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Room Assignments: Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests, taking into account their preferences and needs.
- Financial Transactions: Handle cash, credit card, and currency conversions, as well as compute bills and collect payments.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude.
- Hotel Services: Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Communication: Respond to phone calls, retrieve guest mail, faxes, and packages, and make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations.
- Knowledge and Familiarity: Maintain familiarity with hotel operations, including the front desk, night audit, recreation, and reservations, as well as the hotel computer system.
- Guest Complaints: Field and help resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communication with Colleagues: Provide constant and consistent communication with guest services and the Front Office Manager.
- Posting Charges: Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to the ledger.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous Front Desk Experience: Previous front desk experience is preferred.
- Computer Literacy: Computer literacy is required.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with all ages of guests, as well as all levels of colleagues and leadership.
