Raymond West is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to service, troubleshoot, and repair various types of material handling equipment at customer locations.

Prior mechanical work experience is preferred, but not required. We assess mechanical ability through a series of interviews and pre-hire testing.

We bring industry-leading expertise in lift trucks, racking, conveyor, dock, and door equipment, rentals, parts, and service. Technicians will repair all types of equipment sold and serviced by Raymond West.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Update training and skills on a continuous basis.
  • Maintain a profitable billing level.
  • Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
  • Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.
  • Account for 100% of available time during working hours.
  • Be willing to work overtime when necessary and coordinate with assigned supervisor.
  • Perform other specific duties and projects assigned by Service Supervisors or Managers.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Raymond Level 1 Certified or working towards that goal is preferred. Must have mechanical abilities and be motivated to continuous self-development and training.

This position requires daily travel within assigned territories and regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
