Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Oversight: Direct and supervise staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Schedule Management: Produce and maintain work schedules, and prepare production packets as needed.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis and ensure that all food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations, and perform preventative maintenance checklist.
  • Employee Development: Supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with staff, including office staff, and ensure that all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions, and complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, maintain emotional control under stress, resolve interpersonal situations, and possess strong organizational skills.
