Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Assistant to join our team at Serenity RCF. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of every resident by providing direct care and support. This includes assisting with Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as helping with mobility and transferring residents. The role also involves cleaning and maintaining the resident's living area, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Residential Care Assistant will be expected to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. This may involve answering phone calls, taking messages, and updating resident records.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living and mobility.
  • Clean and maintain the resident's living area, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and taking messages.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • One to two years of experience in residential care or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary and Benefits
