About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Duty Free Sales Associate to join our team at the Detroit Metro Airport. As a Duty Free Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store, follow all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures
  • Operating a Cash Register: Effectively operate a cash register and know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store
  • Stocking and Maintaining the Store: Stock merchandise, inform management of any out of stock situations, and help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, and straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays
  • Communicating with Management: Communicate pricing, out of date, and inventory issues with management and assist other store employees in maintaining security in stores

Requirements

  • Luxury Sales Experience: Prior experience in luxury sales is preferred
  • Interpersonal Skills: High degree of interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse personalities
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Cash Handling Experience: Prior experience operating a cash register is required
