Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist III (Floater) to support our client's medical facility in Merritt Island, FL. This 2-month assignment offers a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while adhering to established practices and procedures.
  • Interact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens safely and accurately.
  • Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all age groups.
  • Process specimens in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Enter orders; retrieve and verify patient collection data and special notations using relevant sources.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience necessary.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite without issues.
  • Must be available to work as scheduled and complete entire shifts.
  • Floater positions involve traveling between multiple sites and require punctuality at each assigned location.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $17-$19.8/hour pay range based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
