Job Summary

The Commercial Services Specialist will provide exceptional service to our clients, producers, and company personnel. This role requires a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with the Account Manager and Producer to provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Account Manager and Producer to provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Assist with coverage training of P&C staff when requested.
  • Assist with training of department automation systems and processes when requested.
  • Assist Account Managers in adding coverages to existing accounts.
  • Assist Account Managers with new and renewal process, including obtaining quotes from carriers' online system, and assist with proposal process.
  • Assist Account Managers with coverage and policy comparison projects.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client information in Agency management systems.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and the Operations team on special projects and act as a back-up to team members as needed.
  • May participate in the development of departmental policies and procedures to be presented for the approval of supervisors/management.
  • Maintain service work and/or service projects assigned to you permanently by the P&C department or your assigned team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred.
  • One to two years of experience related to commercial lines account management preferred.
  • Experience with Epic and other insurance-related software preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Significant skill in handling competing demands and projects.
  • Believe in integrity and building success by developing relationships with others.
