Position Overview

As a key member of the Wireless Connectivity Silicon Team at Apple, you will engage in the innovative design and development of cutting-edge wireless silicon solutions for a variety of Apple products. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of advanced firmware that enhances connectivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement firmware architecture for wireless communication systems, focusing on calibration and performance optimization.
  • Develop algorithms to mitigate hardware-induced impairments through effective calibration and cancellation techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Radio, MAC, and Systems engineering, to architect and define innovative solutions.
  • Support pre-silicon validation efforts through simulation, emulation, and FPGA prototyping.
  • Engage in post-silicon bringup, validation, and performance characterization to ensure system integrity.
  • Automate calibration and verification processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in wireless systems and protocols such as LTE, NR, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
  • Strong foundation in embedded software development, including proficiency in C and C++, as well as scripting in Python.
  • Deep understanding of real-time systems, multi-processor architectures, and low-level hardware interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and teamwork.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three years of industry experience.
