We are a dynamic organization in search of a seasoned and driven Senior Corporate Paralegal to enhance our legal team. Position Details

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in drafting and filing legal documents, including contracts, corporate resolutions, and securities filings.
2. Perform thorough legal research and analysis on various corporate and securities law issues.
3. Collaborate with internal teams and external legal counsel to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
4. Aid in managing the company's corporate governance, including board meetings, minutes, and related documentation.
5. Support the legal team during the due diligence phase for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
6. Maintain an organized and current database of all corporate records, contracts, and legal documents.
7. Provide legal assistance to the sales team, including contract evaluation and negotiation.
8. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and provide timely updates to the legal team and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is highly preferred.
2. At least 3 years of consistent experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally in retail or restaurant corporate environments.
3. Strong knowledge of corporate law and securities, including familiarity with SEC filings and corporate governance.
4. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the capability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
8. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
9. Self-driven, with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
