Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Aldi Inc. As an Assistant Retail Management, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance, manage schedules, and maintain store cleanliness standards.
  • Team Management: Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, identify training opportunities, and evaluate employee performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure direct reports provide prompt and courteous customer service, resolve operational customer concerns, and maintain a positive store image.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining proper stock levels, ensuring accurate product signage, and minimizing losses.
  • Merchandising: Merchandise product neatly to maximize sales and ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale.
  • Financial Management: Assist with achieving store payroll and total loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures, and ability to evaluate and drive performance of self and others.
