Expressive Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Expressive Therapist to join our team at The Ridge Behavioral Health System. As an Expressive Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing various aspects of the expressive therapy program based on each unit's needs and demographics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement expressive therapy programs for patients of all ages
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using music, art, and other creative modalities
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to meet those needs
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy or Master's Degree in Art or Education
  • Previous mental health experience preferred
  • Board certification (MT-BC) or eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the Certification Board for Music Therapist (CBMT) licensure OR LPATA with supervision or LPAT/ATR-BC required
