Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to oversee therapeutic recreation programs and activities for patients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and be certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs and activities for patients
  • Document patient care and progress
  • Continuously improve group programming
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) within 6 months of employment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer competency in approved systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college/university
  • Experience of 6 months or less
