Patient Care Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to support our Correctional Center Patient Care Assistants.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the implementation of the nursing process and deliver nursing services to promote health, foster healing, and support the coping and adjustment to various health conditions.
- Perform activities of daily living for inmates while maintaining accountability in a safe, secure and therapeutic environment.
- Observe, report, document and communicate interventions, treatments, behaviors, emergent needs and situations as they arise.
- Assist with caring for the mental health and physical needs of inmates.
**Requirements:**
- Certified Medication Aides with a certificate to administer insulin
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Correctional center experience preferred but not required
