Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Resident to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Trinity Health. As a CVICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery and interventions.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide critical care monitoring, medication management, and hands-on skills, including telemetry, cardiac drips, and post-surgical care.
- Participate in emergency response teams and vent rounds with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act and National Standards of Practice.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure or GN Permit Form 5 in the State of New York.
- Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred, according to NYS requirements.
- Maintains all licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
