We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Resident to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at St. Joseph's Health. As a RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly specialized team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide critical care monitoring, med/surge nursing interventions, and hands-on skills.
- Participate in emergency response team and vent rounds with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure or GN Permit Form 5 in the State of New York.
- Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred, according to NYS requirements.
- Maintains all licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
- Clinical ladder advancement with experience, staff engagement, and national certification.
- Career path to leadership roles.
