Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Trinity Health. As a CVICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and provide evidence-based care
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation in patient records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York
- Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Specialty credentialing and educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
