Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a RN Resident in our CVICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly specialized team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a graduate nurse with less than 6 months of acute RN care experience. As a RN Resident, you will participate in our Vizient RN Residency Program, which provides comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in our fast-paced CVICU environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality critical care monitoring and med/surge nursing interventions to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in emergency response teams and ensure seamless transitions of care across the continuum.
- Document patient care and quality metrics accurately and efficiently.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of New York.
- Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- Maintain all licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
- A competitive hourly rate of $36.65-$56.65, based on experience, skills, and education.
