Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at California Pizza Kitchen. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our team with a people-first mentality to build on our best-in-class culture. You will deliver a phenomenal guest experience, build sales, profitability, and guest counts, and manage the P&L for the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a phenomenal guest experience by ensuring exceptional service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Lead and inspire the team with a people-first mentality to build on our best-in-class culture.
  • Build sales, profitability, and guest counts by implementing effective sales strategies and managing labor costs.
  • Manage the P&L for the restaurant by forecasting, adjusting labor expenditures, practicing portion controls, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees, guests, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by establishing, following, and complying with sanitation standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years FOH management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Exceptional leadership skills – ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
  • Passionate about execution, hospitality, and service.
