About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified pulmonary physician scientist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented investigator to contribute to our expanding portfolio of sarcoidosis research and engage in our clinical mission.

About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as the lead researcher in our sarcoidosis program, leveraging a large clinical cohort of patients to support basic and translational research. They will also have the opportunity to establish a clinical research program and work with our extensive multispecialty expertise, including dedicated cardiac sarcoidosis and neurosarcoidosis multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an independent research program with a focus on sarcoidosis
  • Conduct research and publish findings in top-tier journals
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement research studies
  • Develop and manage research grants and funding
  • Supervise and mentor research staff and students

Requirements
  • MD, MD/PhD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care
  • Experience in research and clinical care
  • Strong publication record and research funding
