Behavioral Support Specialist

At Full Bloom, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our Specialized Education Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges in special education and alternative education settings nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement personalized behavior plans.
- Assist with lesson planning, implementation, and data collection to ensure student progress.
- Support students in developing life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and self-advocacy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in special education and behavioral support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in special education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in alternative education settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
