We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bayhealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and professional nursing care to patients in the acute care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient medical records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health education.
- Administer medications and perform wound care and dressing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Credential(s): Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a relevant specialty, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as ACLS or PALS.
- Experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
