We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Marketing to join our faculty at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business. As a member of our marketing department, you will contribute to our mission of delivering innovative and impactful education, research, and service to our students, community, and the business world.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish in top-tier marketing journals
  • Teach engaging courses in marketing management and strategy or marketing analytics topics
  • Advise students and provide service to the department, school, university, and academic community
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, or a related field
  • Established or emerging research agenda and a demonstrated record of high-quality scholarly research in marketing
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Marketing or Business Administration with a primary concentration in Marketing
  • Emerging or established research agenda and potential for scholarship that complements or expands existing expertise in the department
  • Prior experience teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate or graduate level
