Job Title: Transit Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to operate diesel and gasoline-powered buses on established routes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate buses on designated routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of passengers.
  • Assist passengers with disabilities, providing a safe and comfortable travel experience.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bus, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other transit staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
