Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Analyze and forecast policy risks and opportunities for tech companies, including broadcasting, cable and satellite, telecommunications, and wireless industries.">
  • Provide timely and concise research reports on various topics within coverage.">
  • Host conference calls and events with primary-source subject-matter experts on key topics.">
  • Speak and travel to meet with institutional investors one-on-one and in group settings.">
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence research projects on tight deadlines.">

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5+ years of experience in policy research or analysis.">
  • Strong ability to communicate complex information effectively in writing and in person.">
  • Prior technology policy experience, either in investment research, government, or outside stakeholder role.">
  • Knowledge of and interest in the financial markets.">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within our team environment.">
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help build and grow our policy research business.">

Compensation and Benefits

">

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Location

This role is based in Washington, DC and requires occasional travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
