Role Overview

Under the guidance of the VP of Process Sciences, the Technology Transfer Manager is responsible for overseeing a dedicated team to ensure the effective transfer of technology for various programs at Scorpius BioManufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee technology transfer processes across multiple functions.
  • Guarantee timely project management and adherence to schedules.
  • Engage with clients to manage documentation requirements.
  • Assess risks and manage project gating processes.
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to facilitate successful technology transfers.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in process and analytical technology transfer.
  • Experience in managing external laboratory partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering project outcomes.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of technology transfer operations.
  • Strong project management and effective communication abilities.
  • Capacity to make swift decisions and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with Facility Fit assessments and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

  • Flexible working hours to accommodate project needs.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in both office and laboratory settings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as necessary.
