Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Healthcare Paramedic to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Mobile Healthcare Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and facilitating continuity of care for patients under the Mobile Integrated Healthcare program.
Responsibilities:- Assess, interact, and treat patients, including facilitating continuity of care by interacting with their physician and healthcare facilities.
- Provide primary care and/or advanced life support, including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients.
- Respond to patients' needs by performing home visits, assessments, and treatments, while interfacing with other clinicians.
- Function in both traditional and non-traditional settings, providing ALS care activities and non-emergency care with a long-term focus.
- Effectively communicate and work in a team-oriented environment, following operational flow and procedures efficiently and effectively to maximize utilization.
- Assist in the development of processes and education materials pertaining to Mobile Integrated Healthcare.
- Function as a facilitator and educator for clinical programs, including continuing education for field crews and new hires.
- Drive performance management, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care and customer service.
- Prepare written reports as required.
- Maintain effective scene management/leadership, following ICS protocols.
- Associate degree in emergency medical services, healthcare, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic.
- EMT I/C or equivalent instructor experience.
- Instructor certification in ACLS, PALS, or related pediatric course, AMLS, CPR.
- MA EMT-P Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license with no driving violations.
- Driving record in compliance with department policy.
