Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the University's debt portfolio
  • Engage with investment banks, rating agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Create debt presentations for Trustee meeting materials and update financial analysis materials for regularly occurring reports and dashboards
  • Ensure that the allocation of debt proceeds to individual projects aligns with the established funding plan
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the University's Debt management, including servicing of debt, monitoring and reporting interest rate risk, validating the swap portfolio mark-to-market valuation, and collateral posting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Finance, Treasury and Cash Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience blending independent work and collaboration to ensure effective debt management and compliance with institutional objectives
  • Advanced skills utilizing Excel, including complex formulas in order to acquire, organize, and analyze data
  • Experience in other data management and reporting tools is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Public accounting or experience within a higher education institution
  • Experience with ERP/SAP
