Job Description

We are seeking a Resource Management Specialist to join our Resource Management team in our Boston office in a remote capacity.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of employees' preferences with regards to skills, interests, and career development opportunities. They will also have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically strong Excel skills and the ability to use pivot tables, macros, and summarize analytics via pivot charts.

The Resource Management Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Continually monitoring utilization levels against business plans, highlighting adverse variance and potential issues for resolution for a minimum of 75 professionals for a designated service line or geography in Advisory, Assurance, and Tax.
  • Monitoring the task list in our RM technology tool to approve resource requests, PTO, CPE, etc.
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of employees' preferences with regards to skills, interests, and career development opportunities.
  • Delivering monthly metrics on staffing trends/resource activities, improving visibility of unallocated resources and increasing cross-sharing staffing activity.
  • Ensuring the labor workforce is efficiently planned according to the operational requirements and resource management service level agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year undergrad degree in Business Management/Administration or 4-year undergrad degree in accounting or finance, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant resource management or workforce planning experience, and/or 1 year as an advisory client service professional.
