Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders and claimants through effective communication and support.
  • Collect essential information to initiate claims and clarify policy details and coverage options.
  • Manage a portfolio of claims, setting initial reserves and adjusting as necessary throughout the process.
  • Ensure adherence to state regulations, policy provisions, and established operational procedures.
  • Facilitate communication among involved parties and process settlements within authorized limits.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of claims guidelines and best practices.
  • Oversee external investigative services and collaborate with clients and legal representatives to resolve claims.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance knowledge of personal lines claims and relevant legal developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in claims management.
  • Possession of active adjuster licenses, with a commitment to obtain any additional required licenses promptly.
  • Familiarity with state regulations and policy provisions.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions based on established guidelines.
  • Motivated by problem-solving and a desire for continuous professional growth.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client and claims-related activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
