Fire Alarm Systems Technician Senior Level Portland OR

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team in Portland, OR. As a Senior Level Technician, you will be responsible for commissioning fire safety systems and ensuring their optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance: Run routine reports to review system operation, conduct final inspections and testing, and support customer acceptance and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
- Conduct Project Site Communication and Coordination: You may support scheduling trade contractors to coordinate start-up services and adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
- 2+ years of experience installing advanced smoke control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2 and ability to obtain Level 3 within 24 months.
- State of Oregon LEA.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
- 5+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
- 2+ years of experience of programming MXL to Desigo Modular migrations.
- Demonstrated ability to read/understand design and construction documents.
- State of Washington LEA.
