Job Title: Fire Alarm System Designer

Job Summary:

Cosco Fire Protection is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm System Designer to join our team. As a Fire Alarm System Designer, you will be responsible for designing and drafting fire alarm systems for various projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft fire alarm systems using AutoCAD and other design tools.
  • Develop shop drawings, voltage/battery calculations, and equipment lists.
  • Coordinate with the MEP team and General Contractor to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on shop drawings, voltage/battery calculations, and equipment submittals.
  • Lead hand-off meetings from design to field technicians.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in Fire Alarm Design.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Fire Alarm Design tools.
  • Experience designing Onyx Notifier, Silent Knight, or equivalent Networked Fire Alarm systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET II certification.
