About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at the Capitol Region Education Council. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing your skills in communication therapy and consultation.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive service plans for students with communication disorders
  2. Provide direct and/or consultative services to students in small group and/or within the general education setting
  3. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student learning
  4. Assess and evaluate students with speech and language needs
  5. Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) based on student needs

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • A valid Connecticut Department of Health License
  • A valid Connecticut State Department of Education Certification (#061)
  • At least 2 years of experience in providing speech services in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
