At New Perspective, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our business office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage job postings on job boards and submit time for payroll processing
  • Manage employee records, including new employee onboarding and resident billing
  • Monitor compliance with Medicaid eligibility standards and maintain accurate records
  • Manage accounts payable, purchasing, and deposits
  • Act as a hospitality ambassador and provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors
  • Maintain community employee records and ensure accurate time submission for bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Provide onboarding and training for new team members and ensure completion of all training requirements
  • Train team members on the Learning Management System and other applicable software applications
  • Capture all vendor payables in systems and maintain vendor relationships
  • Oversee collections of resident invoices and supervise concierge team members
  • Screen, interview, hire, train, discipline, and terminate concierge team members
  • Provide timely performance evaluations of concierge team members
  • Assist in promoting positive Family Communication and champion hospitality
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent of relative experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interact with a variety of electronic devices
  • Experience working with older adults in senior living, long-term care, home health, or other healthcare settings a plus
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy for the challenges experienced by residents, families, and team members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
