The Converting Supervisor is a key member of our production team at THE NEW-INDY GROUP, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of production employees to achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct production employees to ensure efficient and safe production processes
- Implement and maintain systems to drive manufacturing improvements and increase productivity
- Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve operational objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall performance
- Monitor and report on production metrics, including quality, safety, and productivity
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior work experience in a related industry preferred
- Prior supervisory experience and proficiency on the Corrugator are highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple processes concurrently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Physical demands include regular lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 100 pounds
The Converting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, and occasional exposure to high places and fumes or airborne particles.
