We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Vincent Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our Urology/Bariatrics unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assign and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and promoting a safe and supportive work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of LPNs, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to promote patient satisfaction and engagement.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for practice permit.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: Certification in a specialty area, such as urology or bariatrics.
