**Program Manager, Health Equity**

Better Health Together (BHT) is a pioneering health equity organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities across Washington state. We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager, Health Equity to join our team.

**Job Summary**

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing health equity programs, developing partnerships, and promoting community engagement. You will work closely with our leadership team, community partners, and stakeholders to advance health equity initiatives and improve health outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement health equity programs, including community outreach, education, and advocacy efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, internal teams, and external stakeholders to advance health equity initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to community-based organizations to enhance their capacity and effectiveness.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, community engagement, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of leadership and management expertise, ideally in a nonprofit or community health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with indigenous communities, tribal partners, and/or impacted communities.
  • Knowledge of health disparities, social determinants of health, and community-based workforce dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and facilitate effective partnerships.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and visualization to guide program development and report on outcomes.

**Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year**
