Position Overview:

As the Executive Culinary Leader, you will play a vital role in enriching our dining services within our Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. Your focus will be on providing nutritious and high-quality meals that cater to the needs of our residents.

This full-time, salaried position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our residents.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staffing, training, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and servers, ensuring effective hiring, training, and development.
  • Ensure menu quality, consistency, and creativity while optimizing resources.
  • Manage all food production and maintain visibility to customers, addressing feedback and concerns professionally.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and that sanitation standards are upheld.
  • Control the yearly budget for the Food Service Department and review all food service invoices for accuracy.
  • Assist in developing and implementing culinary standards and procedures across the company.
  • Meet or exceed all state and company sanitation requirements.

About You:

You possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and reliability. While previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is advantageous, all candidates are encouraged to apply.

A degree in culinary arts or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of culinary leadership experience in independent or assisted living settings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of food administration and cost control are also required.
