About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Highly Skilled Manufacturing Specialist in our Paint Lab. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Highly Skilled Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for working with a variety of chemicals, solvents, acids, and bases in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Your duties will include reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints to determine masking and painting requirements, as well as performing surface preparation, paint preparation, paint application, detailed masking, and operation of paint equipment and ovens. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as assisting in the training and development of other technicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 or more years of related experience or a related 2-year technical degree. A DoD Interim Secret clearance will be required to start work and will need to be maintained to continue work. You should also have a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering techniques, practices, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Environment

This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. You will work in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor, and will be required to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Salary Range: $45,320 - $72,490 per year
