Payroll Manager

Overview
The Payroll Manager/Benefits Specialist is a critical role that oversees payroll operations and manages employee benefits. This position ensures accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with all related regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for all company entities, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Employee Onboarding: Oversee employee onboarding, including I-9 verification and background checks.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including healthcare, 401k, long term disability, short term disability, and life insurance.
- Open Enrollment: Conduct open enrollment and provide FMLA and COBRA support.
- Compliance: Collaborate with accounting on 401k contributions and payroll reporting, and manage audits for 401k, workers' comp, and unemployment.
- Terminations: Process terminations and manage related documentation.
- Payroll and Benefits Implementation: Implement payroll and benefits for new entities.
- Reporting: Oversee the distribution of W2s, 1099s, and 1095s.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with multiple entities, and 2-3 years of benefits administration experience.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Initiative: Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently.
